Situated on the River Thames overlooking Kew Gardens, this project addresses a significant and sensitive location. Comprising 35 mixed tenure apartments across two buildings adjacent to a new courtyard, the articulated design seeks to unify the surrounding disparate context whist presenting a distinct presence. Appropriately traditional materials are employed within carefully considered contemporary detailing, lending the project a restrained high quality that is suitable for its setting.

 

Traditional materials appropriate to the surroundings are employed with a contemporary design approach.
